Site  History

By Emma
Princess Ariel was created in 2005 by me (Emma). It started off as a Freewebs Page Builder site and then became a Freewebs HTML Site after I finally learnt HTML. In 2006 I teamed up with my good friend Dani who also ran an Ariel Gade site and we worked together on Princess Ariel. At the end of 2006 I bought us a domain name ariel-gade.net and Dani and myself learnt how to code in php and we got properly hosted by state-of-daydream.net.

Unfortunately the server died and we were forced to restart the entire site. We were offered hosting by Fanfilled.com and they even bought us a domain name: ariel-gade.com. A few months later however, they suffered from a server crash and yet again we lost everything. This time however we had a back up and got a few months of data restored. Shortly after this Dani decided to leave the team and another Dani and Gabby joined us.

Then we got an email from the host saying we would have to change our gallery and so decided, as a result to move to another new host. The server crashed there as well! So after having no luck I am writing this towards the end of 2009 in the hope that I'll never have to write it again! Thank you guys for reading this and supporting the site!

By Heather
In May 2010, I (Heather) took over Princess Ariel for Emma due to Emma needing more time away from the computer. It was my pleasure being able to take the site over because I've been a fan of Ariel's for many years. Though I adored the name Princess Ariel, I decided to change the name to Miss Ariel; Ariel had just turned 13 years old at that time and I felt like it was an appropriate change. I felt that the Princess Ariel was best suited for the younger Ariel years. Now that she's a teenager, I hope that Miss Ariel will continue to be an informative and popular Ariel Gade source.
